Weekly Giveaway: Blush Brush & Hemp Makeup Bag! VeganRun is the winner!
I don't know about you but my skin is looking pretty palid these days. The dry winter air combined with lack of sun makes me look like an extra in the Thriller video. Solutions? Working out is great for a rosy glow but what about when you don't have time to break a sweat? This is when I turn to my friend, blush. Blush is great because it can be subtle (or not so subtle, Hello Mac Counter!) and gives you a pretty finish that helps you take on the world! Or at least look human.
To win an animal-friendly blush brush and adorable hemp makeup bag from EcoTools, let me know the best way to stay bright-eyed and bushy-tailed on these cold winter days!
Giveaway ends on Tuesday, February 30th at midnight, PST! Winner will be chosen at random!
Good luck!

Chocolate, green tea with lemon and some more chocolate!
i drink sooooooooooooo much water.
and after i wash my face at night i use this natural spray type moisturizer that puts the natural oils back into your face that you skin produces. my skin hasnt been dry all winter since ive been using it.
Water, sleep and moisturizer.
Yerba mate is a big help on those mornings where I just can't wake up - I love the energy without the caffeine jitters!
Getting outside for a few minutes always helps. Or a nice neutral bronzer cream or powder depending on your skin type brightens things up.
Some form of outdoorsy exercise-- it's hard to get motivated to do it when it's so cold, but I NEED outdoor time and sunlight, so if I'm busting my ass and working up a sweat it's not so bad. I really like biking, hiking, and would love to restart jogging regularly some day. :)
Mascara & lip gloss..... also, going for a run helps sometimes. I MUCH MUCH prefer the sun though!
cool steeped tea bags (black, green or white - not chai!!!)
Yes ++++ to keeping hydrated, filled with wholesome fiber (to push out the toxins), getting plenty of sleep, and loads of TLC and romance, if possible. The latter does wonders for the soul too! :)>>>
But also: good, gentle scrub (try a paste of baking soda + water) to exfoliate helps too! Follow up with a cotton ball soaked in witch hazel and lastly a spritz of rose water or a light moisturizer (few dabs of pure cocoa butter)! Keeps my skin fresh looking all year round.
The best way to stay bright eyed and bushy tailed in the winter months (and all the time) is to drink plenty of water & get lots of rest.
Move to Southern California ;)
get plenty of sleep! put down that cocktail and go home. :)
drink lots of water and moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.
A combination of sleep, exercise and good skin care.
Yoga, healthy food, rest, and red wine!
