DNR Plans for Wolf Hunting Season in Minnesota

The grey wolf has just been taken off the endangered species list and in Minnesota (which has the greatest population of wolves in the U.S.  outside of Alaska) the management of wolves will be transfered from the Federal government to the state.  And wouldnt you know already there are plans for a wolf hunting season.  Gee that was quick!  >:(  This just makes my blood boil.  There is no excuse for this!  There have been a few instances of wolves taking farm animals (I fail to see how this is worse than what humans do to them) and "pets" and apparently this is enough of a cause to hunt a fragile species.  Although they also mention in the article below that wolf hunting season will take place when wolf pelts are in their prime.  Any excuse to kill...
