i need a book to read that's interesting and amazon only has 4 reviews for it, i cant decide if i want to spend the $20 (ugh) and get the book. my library doesn't have a copy. plus, since it's almost 800 pages, it seems kind of daunting... like i'm afraid i'll buy it and then be unable to stay interested for all 800 pages.

i'm hoping someone here has read it or is in the process of reading it?  :-\
