Just in case you didn't know, there is a great tool on c-span.org that makes it easy to look up various Congressional representatives and send them letters or emails on issues that you care about.

I personally am beside myself about the events in Myanmar and I've been sending hysterical emails to the members of the Senate foreign relations committee about how the US needs to do more.  I'm not sure it's going to accomplish anything, but I've been told that Congresspeople actually do pay attention to the communications they get.

But you can use it to write about whatever issue is important to you.  I think the state government representatives are on there as well.
