Man... just, man. The news bummed me out. As a fan of horror, punk, rockabilly and of eccentric characters in general, I had a high place of reverence for the man. I hope his widow knows how much their creation - their Frankenstein if you will - The Cramps meant to so many people.

so weird - i was just thinking last night about the show i saw them play years ago in detroit with the demolition dollrods opening.. then today - this.

This feels out of the blue. That's sad, listened to the Cramps a lot when I was in my teens.  :(
