What DVD are you watching lately?

I have BBC's Persuasion on, but I can't really get into. I've heard thought that BBC's Sense & Sensibility is good. Of course I"ve watched the Ang Lee Emma Thompson version which is superb... I may get it this week to see  :P

My daughter and I have been jamming on the Muppet Show, Season 1 (we don't watch tv at our house. So a DVD episode a couple times a week is a real treat for her). IT's so awesome to see her falling in love with the characters and the humor.

Ah...The Muppet Show. Organised Anarchy.  :)>>> I remember trying to describe "The Goodies" to a friend and the closest I could get was "It's like the Muppet Show but they use real people."

I started watching Death at a funeral last night, but I couldn't get into it

Yeah, I was disappointed by that one, too. I felt like it was too self-conscious.
Like, all the right pieces were there, but something kept them from falling together properly.

i hardly ever watch movies for some reason but tonight i watched the documentary 'the business of being born'.  it was great and i'd encourage any woman that is pregnant or ever plans on having a baby to watch it.  even if you're not planning on having a baby, it's super interesting and informative.  not to mention it made childbirth ALOT less scary looking when you just trust your body and nature to do what it needs to do.
