What song is stuck in your head today?

WHY oh why is it that the song that gets stuck in your head and goes roundandround all day is never one you actually LIKE? In fact, it's usually one you hate!

And if not, you hate it by the end of the day.

Today I'm stuck with a song from "Guys and Dolls": Sit down you're rocking the boat.
Sigh.

What's in your head today?

'Believe Again' by Delta Goodrem (an Aussie).

I heard it at my store and enjoyed it well enough, but then I heard it again at another store where I stopped on the way home. Talk about having it drummed into my head. ::)

I read something yesterday about how some guy pitched a fit because HP used that in an ad.  The song was written by Gary Glitter and everything he's ever done is now associated with pedophilia.  It's a shame because Joan Jett totally took that song apart and made it her own!

Not cool.

aaaaaah! not cool at all!

the Beach Boys are good for some occasions, maybe, but I find that song annoying.
It reminds me of this weird video that my friends (practically siblings) had when we were really young....It was made by the Treasure Trolls people, and it featured popular music playing to the appropriate scene, including cheap little sets and appropriately-dressed Troll dolls dancing around on strings like puppets or some crap. This song featured a lot of crappy glitter-strewn paper ocean shots next to a "beach" with swim suit-clad Trolls walking hand in hand and playing volleyball.
*shudder*

In my childhood I had a tape of someone, the 'Smurfs' maybe?? doing several 'popular' songs like that, including Kokomo. ;D It was just speeded-up versions of the originals. Damn, but it was funny to a kid. 8)

eta: I was gonna say which song I had stuck in my head, but as soon as I caught up on the last few posts, I got dat stoopid Kokomo stuck in dere. ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) But hell, it could hardly have been worse than whatever supermarket pop muzak track was on repeat in my brainz.

Oh lord...musicals again...today it's the "attempted seduction" song from Annie where Miss Hannigan is trying to seduce Daddy Warbucks and he's trying to get her to sign the adoption papers.

We used to listen the Smurfs version when we were young.  :-D However this summer, a friend of ours downloaded on his "summer par-tay" playlist and it played non-stop, at the end of the day, we knew it by heart and it's not a good thing! It was mostly a playlist mix of that song, Another Night of the Real McCoys,  Bohemian Rhapsody and Boombastic by Shaggy. I am sure we have made a lot of enemies this summer.

But right now, the song that is stuck in my head is this one... circa 1993... don't mind the woman speaking at the beginning. She used to be a VJ on Musique Plus, the Quebec MTV.
