WHY oh why is it that the song that gets stuck in your head and goes roundandround all day is never one you actually LIKE? In fact, it's usually one you hate!
And if not, you hate it by the end of the day.
Today I'm stuck with a song from "Guys and Dolls": Sit down you're rocking the boat.
Sigh.

Haha! I feel the same way! My sister and I were hooked on the song, "Boondocks" by Little Big Town and there's this part where they sing acapella and I swore they were singing, "5 car booger on a saturday night" and my 12 yr old sister said, "Yeatsa!!! It's 5 card poker on a saturday night!" She always get the lyrics... Oh well I had a blast singing 5 car booger! hahaha!!! :-D

Too freaking funny! That has happened to me several times, and occasionally I like my line as much/more than the original. Most notably was the line from the Blind Melon song No Rain: "You know I'd like to keep my cheeks dry today." Awesome line! But I thought they were singing, "...I'd like to keep my teenage tragedy..." I thought this for at least 1 year, while the song was played on radio every 15 minutes. I like both versions, but am partial to mine and substitute it in to this day...
The question for you then becomes: how's your lil sis know so much about gambling...huh? I swear they start younger every year....
