What song is stuck in your head today?

WHY oh why is it that the song that gets stuck in your head and goes roundandround all day is never one you actually LIKE? In fact, it's usually one you hate!

And if not, you hate it by the end of the day.

Today I'm stuck with a song from "Guys and Dolls": Sit down you're rocking the boat.
Sigh.

What's in your head today?

"Yes Sir, I Can Boogie." Caused by telling Josh about the white man's overbite. I guess it got revenge! Help me.....

"Spotlight" by MuteMath

This song gives me so much energy to dance. If I danced, would I make an ass out of myself? Yes. Do I care? No.

As long as you don't do The White Man's Overbite or Cauldron-Stirring Arms, you'll be fine!

Hehehe!! I promise nothing. :P

I would love to trade songs.  I forgot the hazzards of a little kid in the house.

To the tune of Camptown Races:

It's somebody's first birthday! Doo Dah!  Doo Dah
It's somebody's first birthday all the  doo dah day. . .

I'm thinking Frankie Lyman was the originator? But I know there were so many covers back then so maybe The Platters did a version. Some good music back then, if I may say so.

You're right. Those incredible falsettos. I knew it wasn't the Platters, really, but I couldn't think of the name.

"Dancing On My Own" by Robyn

HAHA! It was the first song I heard when I arrived in Portland. I heard it at the Denny's across from my hotel. I always keep my ears open for new music. It's got a nice..almost 90's feel to it.

I'd like to be under the sea
In an octopus' garden in the shade
He'd let us in, knows where we've been
In his octopus' garden in the shade.........
