Daytime Vegan
I switched to vegetarian three weeks ago and have now transitioned to what I call "daytime vegan". I eat my breakfast, lunch and snacks vegan but dinner is still vegetarian. My challenge is cheese and some dairy at diiner time. My husband is a stone cold carnivore so I feel compelled to share one meal with him each day, that meal being dinner. I can make almost anything he eats into a vegetarian meal (bean and cheese burritos, cheese enchiladas, beef stroganoff minus the beef and with peas). Does anyone know of a good vegan cheese substitutes? I am ready to try the next step and let go of the cheese but I still want to share meals with the hubby. any help would be appreciated! Also does anyone know of a good protein powder that doesn't have a chalky texture to it? Much thanks and much love to this website!
