Aggression Cookies

What you need:

3 cups brown sugar
3 cups vegan margarine
6 cups oatmeal
1 tablespoon baking soda
3 cups all-purpose flour
oil, for flattening
sugar, for flattening

What you do:

(To make 7 dozen cookies, cut amounts in half. For a small batch of cookies, use one-quarter of the amounts listed.)
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Put all ingredients in large bowl.
2. Mash, knead, and squeeze with your hands until well mixed. The more you mix them, the better they will be, and the more aggression you release!
3. Form small balls, about the size of an English walnut. Place on cookie sheet, leaving room for them to spread out.
4. Oil the bottom of a small glass, dip into sugar and smash the balls flat. Bake for 10-12 minutes. They get crispy when completely cool.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

LOVE this recipe!. I only did 3 things differently. 1 I added some baking cocoa, 2 made them bigger by using a round tablespoon and 3 I didn't flatten them.

Totally rock n roll. I made a bunch for this Christmas and they are the bees knees. The aggression has been quelled for the moment and i got a sweet exfoliation for my hands. I used the same basic recipe to make an additional batch but added vanilla and dark chocolate chunks. Friggin sweet! >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D ;)b

I could I use oil with some applesauce for the margarine instead?

I've never made them that way but you could try and report back. Make a small batch and let me know.

I'm going to bake these cookies today for giveaways... Some plain, some with choco chips and some with cinnamon & raisins. Yabbitgirl you have a real winner here..

This is a GREAT recipe to make for Christmas give aways. So easy and fast...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them.
Not as sweet as it sounds with all the flour and oatmeal, it evens out.

These are absolutely AMAZING.. my favorite cookie..So light and crisp. I make them all the time..The ones I made last night I did not have enough raisins so I added a few dried cranberries. I also use walnut pieces sometimes.. One of these days I will try to make choco chip cookies in place of the raisins..It's just a wonderfully versatile recipe. I do use my kitchen aid mixer instead of doing it by hand.
Thank you Yabbitgirl. I cannot believe more people have not commented.  ;)b

;)b    These cookies are great! Very easy to make, perfect texture and awesome flavor. I did make some changes because it would be a mistake for me to have 7 dozen cookies in the house. The modified recipe made about 3 dozen.

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup oatmeal
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup flour
--added 1/2 bag of raisins
--added a sprinkle of cinnamon

I mixed everything up by hand (quite fun!), flattened (omitting extra sugar) and baked at 325 for 12 minutes.
