Banana Nut Quinoa
1/2 cup quinoa, rinsed throughly
1 cup water
1/8 cup brown sugar
1/8 cup maple syrup
1/2 to 2/3 cup walnuts, chopped
1 medium banana, cut into chunks
1. In a small saucepan, bring quinoa and water to a boil. Once the quinoa comes to a boil, reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 10-15 minutes. The water should all be absorbed and the quinoa fluffy.
2. Once quinoa is cooked, add in the brown sugar and maple syrup and stir to combine.
3. Add in walnuts and banana to the quinoa. Stir again to combine all ingredients and serve while warm.
