Beans on Toast

What you need:

1 (15-ounce) can vegan baked beans
4 slices whole wheat bread
vegan margarine (I use Smart Balance Light)
tobasco sauce (optional)

What you do:

This is a very simple recipe that is commonly eaten in England for breakfast or lunch. I eat this for breakfast because I don't care for most other traditional breakfast foods.
1. Heat up the beans on the stove
2. Meanwhile, toast the bread and butter it.
3. Add hot sauce to the beans if you like (I don't like it with the hot sauce, but my husband always adds Tobasco to his) and spoon onto the toast.
4. Serve immediately so bread does not get too soggy.
Source of recipe: my husband makes this

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I liked the idea of this recipe and switched it up using Azuki beans since I had that lying around the house. It was delicious and I'll make it again. And maybe next time if I have some baked beans, I'll use that : )
