Paprika Tofu

What you need: 

16 oz package of seitan (I used White Wave's Wheat Meat)
3-4 medium red, yellow or white onions
1 large, heaping tablespoon of paprika
1 tablespoon of seasoning salt (or to taste)

What you do: 

Thinly slice the onions into half moons. Place a little water into the bottom of a frying pan and sauté the onions until they begin to soften. Add the paprika and seasoning salt. Sauté a few minutes longer.
Add the seitan. Continue to sauté until the onions have completely broken down and the seitan is covered in the spice mixture.
Serve over rice or pasta.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Sounds interesting, but where is the tofu the title refers to? :-)

i made this lastnight and put it in some pasta. it was excellent. i used olive oil instead of water.
