Pie Crusts - 3

What you need:

4 cups white flour
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup shortening
2/3 cup olive oil
2/3 cup water

What you do:

Mix the flour and salt together. Cut in the oil and shortening with a pastry blender or two knives until it crumbles. Stir in the water with a fork until mixture begins to form a ball or small balls.
Roll out 1/3 of the mixture on a sheet of plastic wrap. Invert pie plate on top, slide hand under the plastic wrap, and turn over letting the dough fall into the pie plate. Repeat with the rest of the dough.
The pie shells can be frozen until ready to use. They can be filled and baked. Or, they can be pricked with a fork and baked at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

This pie crust was very good. I used canola oil instead of olive and used earth balance margarine instead of shorting. I made an apple pie with it and i reccomend this crust.
