Super Easy Sesame Tofu!

What you need:

1 block extra firm tofu (I used tofu steaks with garlic and pepper)
2-3 tablespoons sesame seeds (I toasted mine in a pan on low heat)
soy sauce to taste
lemon juice to taste
1-2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking (or veggie oil)
vegan worcestershire sauce to taste, any spices to taste (optional)
toasted sesame oil (optional)

What you do:

1) First, drain and cut the tofu into bite-size chunks.
2) Heat oil in a medium/large frying pan and add tofu. Add soy sauce and lemon juice, and any other spices you'd like. I like to add a couple drops of toasted sesame oil, as well. Fry the tofu until all sides are browned and a little crispy, adding more soy sauce if/when needed.
3) When tofu is just about done, sprinkle sesame seeds on it, and continue cooking until done. The sesame seeds should stick to the tofu (for the most part, not all of them do).
This is a really simple recipe, and easily adaptable. Any veggies could be added to the tofu if wanted. I made roasted brussels sprouts on the side, but some peppers and onions would be good stir-fried with the tofu. Serve as is, or piled on top of some rice or with veggies. Enjoy!
Source of recipe: I wanted to make something easy with ingredients I already had, and came up with this.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Tried this today as I was looking for something quick because I was super hungry :)  It turned out delicious and so simple!!!
I used extra firm tofu which was fine but next time i'll make sure to "squeeze" out more of the water. Thanks!!
