SO HOW'D IT GO?

Didn't measure, used drown sugar, approx 1.5 cup. Added chocolate chips. Mmm & approved by my 14 y/o!

Halved the recipe, it was very yummy with these changes: used chocolate flavoured soy milk, regular oats, and only 3/4 cup sugar.

This! I also added 70% cocoa chocolate chunks instead of cocoa since I was out, and forgot the vanilla (Whoops!) I was also looking for something fast since I was gettin' a evening sugar craving like no other.

The only thing I did not like about this recipe is that now I have a tummy ache since I ate a whole bunch of it. Ugghhh.

these are waaaay to good. i halved and modified the recipe somewhat though: 1/4 c honey instead of sugar, no margarine just a dash of oil, and 1 tbs of peanut butter. it only made 6 cookies, but i was scared to make more because i WILL eat them all. yum yum yum and super fast, thanks for the idea!!  :D

I needed something sweet and chocolatey and FAST so I made these using pecans, coconut milk and only 3/4 C sugar for a half batch. Try halving the sugar and upping the cocoa powder to double. Next time I'll just use all coconut milk with a pinch of salt and no margarine as there is plenty of fat in the milk for a less processed treat. Toasting the nuts next time will be even more delicious. I didn't bother to form these into cookies. I ate it out of the saucepan while warm and crumbly and then put the rest of the crumbles into a container. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

omg! i tasted these this morning (healthy breakfast  :)) but they were amazing! i added chocolate chips to the oats, but they just melted, so they were really chocolately and for some reason, it tasted like there was coconut in it, weird, but my sis thought to too. they were awesome!

These are amazing! I think it took me about ten minutes, from the time I started grabbing ingredients out of the pantry until the cookies were finished and being passed around. They're delicious. I read everyone's suggestions about lessening the amount of sugar, but I decided to try the recipe as it is first. I halved everything because I didn't want thirty cookies, so I used 1 cup of sugar. I think they came out fine that way. They are super sweet, but they're cookies!  >:D

Thanks for the recipe, I'm keeping this one.

i was in such a craving for chocolate and this recipe came along. i didn't have enough oats, which probably caused it to not stick together. But I ended up eating it by spoon anyways.... haha. probably not good if I am trying to get a flat tummy... BUT OH WELL! screw it. It was good! :)

Yummy!  I modified by using a cup of sugar, 1/2 c of peanut butter and I added a few chocolate chips (maybe 1/4 cup?) because I think I didn't boil mine for quite long enough, and the consistency was a tad off.
