Asian-inspired Broccoli, Shitake, and Grape salad

What you need:

1 small head broccoli, diced into bite-sized pieces
1/2 medium red onion, sliced thinly or diced
1 handful green grapes, halved
1 small handful raw almonds, chopped
4 shiitake mushrooms, stems removed, thinly sliced
1/2-1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
1 tablespoon Shoyu soy sauce
1/2 large navel orange, juiced
sprinkling hot pepper flakes, optional (I use the chili flakes used to make Kimchee; no seeds)

What you do:

1. Toss together all ingredients, except pepper flakes.
2. Let marinate for 15 minutes-1 hour, stirring occasionally.
3. Sprinkle on the chili flakes right before eating.
So simple and yummy!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I have a nut and gluten allergy so I substituted the almonds with raw, organic sunflower and pumpkin seeds and the soy sauce with Bragg's Amino Acids (you can also use GF tamari).

Not only was this salad delicious, but it was beautiful too.  I made a few changes based on personal preference, but the recipe was fantastic as is.  Thank you!
