Cashew Gravy

What you need:

2 cups water (divided)
1/2 cup raw cashews
2 tablespoons Bragg's Liquid Aminos
2 tablespoons corn starch
2 teaspoons nutritional yeast flakes
2 teaspoons chicken style seasoning (I use McKay's)

What you do:

1. Blend 1 cup water with the cashews on high, until smooth and creamy.
2. Add the rest of the dry ingredients and blend again.
3. Pour into a small pan and stir in remaining water. Bring just to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Smooth, thick, and creamy! Perfect for the black bean patties I am making. I didn't have any corn starch available, so I substituted it with 2 tablespoons of organic all purpose flour. Tastes really good! Thanks for sharing!
