Cold Pressed Shake

What you need:

1/2 to 1 cup ground coffee, medium dark roast
vanilla soy ice cream
1/2 banana
pure maple syrup
press pot, fine mesh sieve, or cheesecloth

What you do:

Cold Press: Mix 1 cup ground coffee with 1 1/2 cup water (I like it strong for this). Place in fridge for 10 hours (overnight). After coffee has sat for 10 hours, strain it using a press pot or pour thru a strainer.
Taste coffee, if it needs to be watered down, use soymilk after you make the shake so its not too weak.
Place coffee, vanilla ice cream, 1/2 banana and a big squirt of maple syrup into a blender and whir together, taste and adjust.
Strawberries and chocolate are a good addition too!
**Cold press is different from iced coffee, the cold extraction allows for a mild, smoother, non bitter taste and far less acidity for those with frequent heartburn.
