Dill and Garlic Green Beans

What you need:

3 handfuls fresh green beans, tips removed
2/3 cup olive oil
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 teaspoons dill weed

What you do:

1. Boil green beans in water for about 5 minutes, or until tender-crisp. While beans are cooking, add oil, garlic and dill weed in a bowl. Make sure the bowl has a lid, such as a Tupperware bowl. Give a quick stir.
2. When beans are done, drain and put in bowl with oil mix. Place lid on bowl and shake a few times to mix oil and green beans. Let sit for 1 hour.
3. After hour, pour contents of the bowl into a pot and cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Tried making this the other night. I added a little bit of onion powder, pepper, salt, and a dash of garlic powder (to help enhance the garlic-y taste, which I looove!). I didn't use as much dill weed as the recipe called.
Thanks!
