Tofu Loaf

What you need: 

1.5lbs (600g) firm tofu, mashed
1 medium onion, chopped finely
1/3 cup soy sauce (low-sodium)
1/3 cup ketchup/tomato sauce (low-sodium)
2 tablespoons whole grain mustard or sweet chili sauce
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 teaspoons mixed dried herbs or 3 tablespoons fresh chopped
1 cup rolled oats

What you do: 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).
Mix all ingredients together with wooden spoon till well blended.
Press the mixture firmly into a greased or lined loaf pan.
Bake for 45 minutes.
Let cool about 15-20 minutes before loosening sides & tipping out onto plate.
Slice and enjoy!
I served with steamed green beans and boiled baby potatoes.
Also excellent as a sandwich filling when cold.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I have kaherrick. I made it twice I think. I liked it ok, but it isn't really my type of recipe. You may really like it. I ate it hot and covered in ketchup, I wouldn't think eating it cold would be good. There is only one way for you to find out. ;)
