Yep, I use anywhere I would use soy sauce, unless the flavor of the soy sauce is going to be totally front and center. And even then sometimes I use Bragg's -- for instance, for dipping sushi. I like the taste a lot.

I use this in any recipe that calls for soy or tamari sauce. My latest favorite is "Bragg's Pumpkin Seeds." Toast pumpkin seeds, then sprinkle them with Bragg's as soon as you take them out of the oven. Great snack!
And yes. All the cool vegans are doing it. (i'm not vegan...I guess I'm just a poser ;))

Since you get more Bragg's than tamari for an equivalent amount of money, I use Bragg's in any recipe that calls for a lot (more than a couple of tablespoons) of "soy sauce." (So that makes me cool, huh? 8))

Well, shucks, I haven't even seen any kind of teff, much less eaten any. Guess I'll have to continue to work on my "cool." ;D

I eat Braggs almost everyday and hardly ever use soy sauce unless I think the great saltiness will be required.

It has the same kind of saltiness, but it's milder. It seems smoother to me. I don't know if that makes any sense at all...
Yeah, I agree. It seems almost watered down but the flavor is not. Braggs is tomato juice and tamari is tomato sauce. Or something like that.

Bragg's has kind of a 'smokey' taste to me. Far less salty than tamari or soy sauce

since i'm hopefully going to whole foods this monday, should i "be cool" and buy some braggs. is it worth it?
I think it's worth it and have used it for years, but if I were you I'd get the smaller bottle first (if you have a choice) to make sure you like it. After all, everyone's taste is a little different.

I'm so going to Whole Foods tomorrow and adding this to my list.
I want so desperately to be "cool" and "in".
Really, though, the mere fact that it's got far less sodium and more health benefits is enough to make me get it anyway. The "cool" factor is just a super bonus ;)

To me, it has more flavor than soy sauce.
