Things I've Cooked on the George Foreman Grill

I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread about things you've cooked on the George Foreman grill. Not all of us are lucky enough to own or have access to a gas/charcoal  grill, so we have the ol' Foreman to satisfy our grilling needs!

I got mine out last night, and I'm determined to use it on a regular basis. So, vegwebbers, what have you cooked on your George Foreman grill? How long did it take? Were you satisfied with the results?

I'm hoping to hear some strange and wonderful posts!

That all sounds good!  I'm going to have to research a George Foreman Grill now.  My family has a large outdoor grill but they use it for meat.  There is a side infrared part that they do not use so it is meat free.  Off to do some window shopping.

Look online, like eBay or Amazon. I feel like there are GF grills everywhere. I've even seen them at yardsales. I have mine because someone gave one to my grandma when she already had one, so I got this one last Christmas time. Check with grandmas everywhere!

Portobelloe mushrooms for sandwiches!  I also cook strips of squash, zucchini, onion and red pepper to make a delicious "plant" sandwich like the one at Rain Forrest Cafe!

1) Marinated tofu
2 )Plain tofu till a little chewy, then top with BBQ sauce and bake till sauce is thick. Yummy, rib like effect (without the yucky parts)
3) Portabellas
4) Eggplant
5) Zucchini
6) Bananas sliced once lengthwise, topped with brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped walnuts, and grilled till gooey (I believed pineapple also works this way)

Thanks, everyone for sharing your creative ideas. I bought a demo GFG at WalMart because it was a good price and have had it for several years without using it. Now you've inspired me. I'm hungry...

Oh, I forgot about this thread.  I've cooked the Fat Free Vegan Barbecued Seitan Ribz on mine (cuz, ironically, it was too damn hot out to use the real grill).  It worked well.
