New vegwebber, ex-Lurker

Hello!
I finally decided to stop lurking on this site, and register.
I'm a 19 year old art student from Chicago studying painting and gender studies in Baltimore.
I've been vegan for over 7 months now, and last month celebrated my 1 year anniversary of no-meat. (For the record, I feasted--it was lovely.)
By the way, there are some awesome recipes on here that probably saved me from going back to the dairy in frustration. Thanks to all!

yeah, today it's gonna be 90 degrees F. Which is exciting, to say the least. (But, it's gonna go down a bit later on... :( )

thanks! I'm getting excited for my 1 year as a vegan anniversary--though I still gotta figure out what I'm going to make for that day. :)

I'm pretty sure it was a vegan bean burrito with homemade guac--kind of normal, but it made me really happy. Oh, and I made cookies and all sorts of goodies that week--as well as bought a vegan chocolate bar. Mmmmmm.  :D Man, I can't wait for my one-year vegan anniversary...I've learnt to cook since then, and it shall be even more fabulous.

Great to meet you, Baltimore is a great city. I'm glad the site kept you from resorting back to dairy, kudos to VegWeb.
