Goal Tracking Club

This thread is for people who formally want to track either one or two goals and hold themselves accountable to each other.  Research says that people who quantify and track their goals in a way that keeps them accountable lose up to twice as much weight.  :)

These can be any type of fitness/health goals, not just weight loss or the like.  It could be an amount of time spent working out, or drinking a certain amount of water each day, or losing a certain number of inches, for example.

Here's the chart I made, but I don't know why it's showing up so small.  Let me try to fix it....

omg! When I look at older pictures now, I can't believe I look so chubby. Don't get me wrong, I don't think I was fat or any of that crap, but it's sooo weird.
I shall show you an example.

This is me today:

Shell~
Those electronic scale thingys that do your weight and body fat are NOT reliable at all.  Since the electrical current is going through your whole body it also analyzes the food in your stomach.  Let's say you just ate a whole avocado = higher fat reading.

The most accurate test is bone density scan, then hydrostatic weighing (under water), then calipers, then scale (or other hanheld bioelectric impedence device), then BMI or measuring at certain points and putting those measurements into a body fat calculator.

Body Fat Categories for Women
•10-12% - Essential Fat
•14-20% - Athletic Fat Levels
•21-24% - Fitness Fat Levels
•25-31% - Acceptable Fat Levels
•>32% - Obese

Body Fat Categories for Men
•2-4% - Essential Fat
•6-13% - Athletic Fat Levels
•14-17% - Fitness Fat Levels
•18-25% - Acceptable Fat levels
•>26% - Obese

we were just talking about this yesterday, I didn't realise the dexa/bone density scan showed fat levels but my husband was telling me they do.  I've had a couple and am probably due for another as my doctor has wanted to monitor my bone density due to the fact that my mum developed quite severe osteoporosis quite early.  Last time I had one I was on the very low side of healthy, but I never knew to ask about what other information they can get from the scan.
If I'm brave enough, I might ask next time I get one done....

I think your face looks rounder in the older pic, but you still look great.
I don't think it makes you look chubby at all, just younger
