What's with cravings?
I've been having EXTREMELY specific cravings lately. It's starting to make me feel like my diet is missing something. Every time I head to WF for lunch I'm attracted to the same meal: quinoa salad, grilled tofu, roasted beets, and grilled mango. And I have general cravings for quinoa, tofu, and mangoes. Any ideas?
What's wrong with that? Your cravings are for quinoa, tofu, and mango? Sounds like you love those foods!
Well, you're not feeling unhealthy, are you? Because those seem like good cravings to me! Maybe your body is just telling you that that sort of food is good for it, so your body craves it *shrugs* Dunno. I get cravings for broccoli, mushrooms, and tofu...and tempeh bacon and brussels sprouts :) So you're not alone in your craving for healthy food!

It's probably just that you like those foods. People crave what they love.
I wouldn't worry too much about it, I get random cravings for sauteed spinach and tomatoes (sometimes together, sometimes separate). I look at it like this: if your body is deficient in something you're getting from those foods you're craving then you're body's doing a good job--keep eating them! Isn't eating whole foods the best way to get nutrients your body needs?
i would rather crave those things you crave!
i crave thai food... if i don't have my fix of spicy eggplant with tofu, topped with tons of chili paste, by friday, i start to get cranky LOL
though i also crave salad everyday, if i don't eat some salad i feel weird (mine is slathered in vegan ranch tho)

Those things sound light on the tummy I think.
