Weekly Giveaway: Coconut Hand Wash by Desert Essence ! Winner is Annapurna007!

Is it freezing where you are? Because it's (close to) freezing where I am. It's been raining for what seems like a thousand years and I definitely need some sort of boost. I'm actually thinking of turning my living room into a fake beach. I plan to turn all the lights on, blast the heat, put on some Beach Boys, and cover myself in suntan lotion. Okay, maybe that last part is a little insane. Instead, I'll use Coconut Hand Wash by Desert Essence Organics (http://www.desertessence.com/skin-care/coconut-hand-wash-nourish). One whiff of this stuff and I'm transported to a 5-star hotel in the tropics, complete with a full pina colada bar and a pool boy fanning me with a palm frond. Dreaming of this while trapped in the rain is almost cruel. Almost.

To enter to win a bottle, let me know what your Chinese Zodiac sign is (you can also tell us what it says about you, if you're into it!)

Giveaway ends on Tuesday, February 9th at midnight, PST! Winner will be chosen at random!

Good luck!

My daughter just used all of our expensive, lavender goodness liquid hand soap as a bubble bath! So, I'm gonna play the odds...me and BP facing off for the bottle of handsoap.

My Chinese zodiac? A boar. Yes I'm a total bore, I mean boar. But I did have marital strife because I married another boar (you're not supposed to do that). Now I'm happily single again, which I think is one of our qualities...we like our alone-time.

I'm a Rat!

Characteristics:
Smart, Magnetic, Well-liked, Affable, Quick-witted, Surreptitious, Selfish, Protective, Calculating

I'm a wood rat, which means:
Despite having a remarkable facade of self-confidence, deep down, Wood Rats are the least sure of themselves compared to other Rats. However, they wouldn't dream of showing this side of themselves to anyone. Only close companions of a Wood Rat would ever suspect that he or she had such self-doubt. In fact Wood Rats are often worried about downfall, despite their ability to find success. Well-liked, proficient, and good leaders at work, Wood Rats seem to function best when they are surrounded by family and friends. Cordial and delicate, they are usually well loved by family, friends and peers.

I always thought I was a rat because my birthday was in 1984, but I realised awhile ago I guess I'm technically a boar, because my birthday falls before the Chinese New Year.

I had to google mine. I've never actually looked it up before. Turns out I'm a snake... according to the description I read I'm seductive, wise, and love being in the spotlight. That sounds a lot like my "normal" astrological horoscope; I'm a Leo as well. Hmmmm. I don't know what I think about that.  ^-^

Oooh, I'm so glad you did this as a subject! I am a tiger, born in 86, and I fit my zodiac sign perfectly! Tigers are compassion and nurturing, while at the same time hot-headed and can be condescending or judging of others if they're not careful. I feel like this fits me to a T, even though it's somewhat of a dichotomy. I'm compassionate for the animals, and I nurture the animals in my life, and I even feel like I nurture my close friends and family, since I'm always baking for them and having them over for dinner. However, I have a quick temper, and I tend to get really angry and upset when humans act like they have the right to enslave animals and refuse to respect them. I can be quick to judge others' character when I see them wearing fur or eating meat. I know this isn't a good quality, but I guess it's innate, right???

Tigers are supposed to be strong and able to stand up for what they think is right, and I think that's just perfect for being a vegan. Even though it's not always the most popular decision, it's one I want to make and one I stand behind.

(BTW, my boyfriend of 8 years is a dog sign, and they go together really well! Dogs are known humanitarians, and perhaps this is why he is transitioning into a vegan lifestyle!!!)

Oh, I also want to add this: even though I'm a tiger zodiac sign, I love love love chickens (I even have a chicken tattoo), so growing up when I received tiger things or bought them myself, I also received or purchased the rooster things, too. I have jade jewelry of tiger and chicken, TY beanie babies of both, etc. So, I'm an honorary chicken/rooster!
