Cabbage Soup

What you need: 

1 head red cabbage, bite sized
3 medium onions, coarsely chopped
8 ounces raisins
1/2 cup brown rice, uncooked
1 (15 ounce) can whole tomatoes
1 (8 ounce) can tomato paste
splash vinegar

What you do: 

1. Put cabbage, onions, raisins, and rice in crock pot.
2. Add water to cover generously (tough to do since the cabbage floats). Cook on highest setting for a few hours, until the cabbage is faded and the water is bright purple.
3. Add tomatoes, paste, and vinegar. Finish cooking on lowest cooking setting.'
