Peanut butter and banana go SO well together.  They are awesome toppings for oats (...actually, I didn't use oatmeal, but a 10-grain hot cereal blend).

Simple hearty breakfast! We enjoy oatmeal Sunday mornings before church, and this recipe satisfied our tummies:)

We love banana and peanut butter, and we thought that this recipe brought out the best in both of them. Sometimes baked bananas and oatmeal can be rich tasting, but with the nuttiness of the peanut butter, the oatmeal and bananas were not too rich. The peanut butter didn't overpower the banana and oatmeal flavors either.

Used four grain hearty oatmeal and cooked in the microwave for about 2-3 minutes. Also used soy milk (warmed). Didn't puree the banana, just sliced it and cooked it with the oatmeal. Added peanut butter before cooking the oatmeal. YUM!
