Kellys Red Cabbage Salad

What you need: 

1 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons seasoning blend
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
1 head red cabbage, finely chopped
8 green onions, chopped
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1 (3-ounce) package Ramen noodles, crumbled

What you do: 

1. Dressing: In a bowl, combine vegetable oil, red wine vinegar, sugar, seasoning blend, salt, and pepper.
2. Salad: In another bowl, combine cabbage, onion, almonds, sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds.
3. Drizzle dressing over salad and toss to combine.
4. Just before serving, sprinkle with ramen noodle crumbles (although they stay crunchy even into the next day).

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I made this last night.  I used a purple cabbage and oh my is it pretty in this salad what with the green onions and all.  I took a picture with my cell phone and will post if I can ever figure out how.  I think next time I will change the vinegar to oil porportion....I like mine a bit more tangy.  Also, I think I'll add another pack of noodles.....could be I just had a bigger cabbage than needed?  I used the seasoning packet from the ramen oriental noodles....as far as I could tell it was vegan.
