maybe take half a strawberry one and half a chocolate one and squish them together first.. then zap it..
we may be on the verge of a very important discovery.

oh oh oh! If I microwave BOTH the strawberry and chocolate, they'll become softer, and THEN i'll squish them together to get a strawberry-chocolate, super-sized odwalla bar.
Now if I only had the time... oh wait.

I wound up microwaving a choc-chip-peanut clif bar. I should be ashamed, admitting that on the odwalla bar thread. :-\
But I WILL do it (eventually...). I have the materials at hand (strawberry bar, chocowalla, microwave, hands)

Me either. Never heard of them before. Are they only at the HFS or can you usually get them at a regular grocer?

It varies. I first saw them at Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, but now I've seen them at Longs (drugstore) and Raley's (grocery store), though not at others. They're the same brand as those (Odwalla) juices, which are much like Naked juices... I figure each store has a contract (or something) for one or the other.

So just to update (i know everyone's been waiting...), I did try the experiment with the strawberry and chocowalla.
I wound up with something like a strawberry-chocolate-crumble-granola thing. I couldn't even reshape it into a bar, but man, was it tasty.
Now I know that I'd buy a strawberry chocolate granola if there was one.

k. i just thought of another one!
what if you take a strawberry one and a pb one and smoosh them together for a pb & j one?!
maybe if you try squishing them before heating them up they would melt into eachother more and not fall apart...?
CAN I BE ANYMORE OF A NERD????

I actually DID heat them up before the smooshing, so that might have been the problem... at first I didn't realize you were referring to the PB bar and I thought you were saying to spread pb on the strawberry bar... which sounds totally awesome.
You know what we need? Odwalla bars/any bars as the secret ingredient for the next Ironchef. Think of all the pie crusts you could make!
