Fuzzy melon

I picked up a fuzzy melon today at the fruit and veg store (along with two gorgeous purple and white striped eggplants that I can't classify!) because... well, because it was there and I've never cooked one before! I was just planning on peeling, dicing and tossing it into a Japanese curry, but does anyone have a more creative recipe before I do?! My googling attempts have come back pretty unsatisfactory; think meat stuffed or boring.
I love fuzzy melon, but I only peel it and chop into small cubes and stir fry it with a little salt. Cover it and simmer it until it very soft . It will become watery (do not add water). Basically it is a very sweet melon. I eat it simple as it.
Thanks doughbunny. I think I'll try that since I'll get a better idea of the flavour than if I drown it in curry sauce!
