We are located at 719 E. Genesee St. in Syracuse, NY.

We have a moderate coffee (all organic and fair trade) and tea (all organic, some fair trade) selection.

We have an awesome assortment of soups, salads, sandwiches, milkshakes, and other assorted yummies.

We serve breakfast all day, every day. (except Friday... see next line)

We have pizza nights every Friday night from 6pm to 2am.

We are a Green restaurant and will be certified as such soon.

We open early and stay open mad late.

We are the new ethic.

This is the  best thing that has ever happened in Syracuse.
If you are in the area. i highly recommend stopping by!
Please take time to read the menu!
The milkshakes are out standing.

I finally went! It was a spur of the moment trip to Syracuse with a vegan friend and we had to check the place out. The milkshakes rock! I haven't had a non homemade milkshake in FOREVER! The food was delicious also. I was very curious about Teese. It was pretty comparable to Vegan Gourmet. It didn't melt well though but it was still good but being a vegan cheese I didn't really expect it to melt good. As for the atmosphere...very cool to be in a place with more vegans but have one issue. There's no a/c. It was in the upper 80s and soooo incredibly hot in there. I feel for the guys cooking! They must've been dying because there's no backroom with a kitchen instead its right behind the counter. We didn't stay that long because we were uncomfortably hot :(.

cammers is from syracuse?  ummm, hai, I'M from syracuse!  that's where my family lives!

dude, cammie, where you from?  I'm from Baldwinsville.  :)

Haha, I'm surprised this never came up when we met Kate, but since you are from B-ville, and my name is Camillus, you should guess I'm from the town right next to yours *cough Camillus cough*.

I ate at Stronghearts a few weeks ago and it was very good.  I got an egg McVegan, which I thought was a bit overpriced, but was good none-the-less.  I also got a tofurkey sammy, that was very good, and all the veggies were fresh, and local, or so my taste buds say.

I also got a Rosa Parks shake (Peach Cobbler) and it was amazing.  The shakes are a must have, and the staff is very friendly.  They seemed as friendly to an obviously omni couple as they were to me, who was wearing an herbivore hoodie, and I think that is great.
Definitely worth a small trip, and especially if you are in the area.  I'll be there again this weekend.
