Who is going to California in August?

Stop pussyfooting around. I want to know who all is going besides the 10 people who have said they are.
Katie and I are planning on going, but we may also use this time as vacation time, i.e. we may be spending about a week or so there. We want to know what all there is to see in lovely San Francisco and we probably want to hang out with you, too. ;)
I already know about Millennium...anything else we would need to check out?
michael and i will not be going : ( we talked about tour and realized that a first tour (for this band) going to the west coast is not a good idea. everything is so spread out.

I *want* to go, and would commit to going 100% if it weren't for certain up-in-the-air conditions:
1) My lease here is up at the end of August...this means that Sanvean and I will be packing up and planning Our move to California that month, but We also plan on visiting Our respective families before settling down out there. not quite sure when that'll be, but it *could* be end of August/early September, which would free up the beginning of August...
2) He and I are also planning on making at least one major road trip (possibly two) this summer: one for a REPO! event, and another (hopefully) for visiting some of my family in Iowa/getting our road-trip vehicle prepped for the REPO! event. this would hopefully NOT coincide with the Cali VW event, but it depends...
3) the above condition depends on Our money situation, and whether or not We can get Our road trip vehicle. We are planning on making it happen, but being the money-hating pessimist/realist that I am, I'm preparing for the possibility of disappointment. BUT, again, I'm planning to avoid such disappointment.
.........if all goes according to plan, Sanvean and I will be able to attend, and (don't hold me to this) may be able to take along some other Georgia VWers. but again, We'll have to see how some other things work out...

lets both contact everyone we have info for that originally said they were interested. you said sb isn't going, right? i am also going to try to force him. i don't know if he will, though. i think frances (who live in santa cruz) said she wanted to go.. right? i'll be checking on people.

i think a lot of us post on both, unfortunately. i have no idea if any exclusively ppkers are going/if we want them to? i don't feel like i am one that could give a yes or no.
anyway, i talked to sb and he said he just can't go bc of work but after 10pm would be happy to get drinks/tea/whatever with people.
I just got my tax refund that I delegated for the trip...so I'm definitely there! I'm gonna make it a vacation too, but I will probably be making some stops elsewhere before hitting SF.
