I just installed Google Earth

Wow! I love Google Earth! Why didn't I download this ages ago? ???
Any other fans? Suggestions of places to check out?

hm.. it is pretty fun to see areas... but kind of inaccurate with specific addresses. fun all the same, though.

That's true. I guess it's just a matter of perspective; I thought the level of detail was a little creepy. I live in the middle of nowhere and there was a picture with a view of my house. I liked the element of human error, because the person that uploaded the photo got the address wrong.
I find it very useful.
Of course, I use a map program for directions but we're looking for a house to buy and sometimes if I see an ad for one I don't recognize the town's name so I check it out on google earth real fast to see if it's in our vicinity. And it's easier to see how big the town is and layout than on map programs.
Google Earth is awesome! I love maps, global, etc. Something about them, I could just stare at them for hours.
