vegan choco tacos?

So, I was wondering if there has ever been a vegan version of the Choco Taco ice cream treat. Anyone know?

OMG! I love chaco tacos! I haven'thad one in years! I remeber they used to sell them at our local taco bell!

I had a few in my day, but the waffle part was always really stale. I would be all about making my own waffle taco. OH my god, I want ten of them right now

same here. don't think i have but you can't go wrong with icecream and chocolate!!
i think it would be easy to make. perhaps some kind of shell ... what to use for a shell

Yes! The shell always had a weird soft/rubbery texture to it! I bet if you made u your own waffle shells you would be able to have crunchy ones they way their supposed to be!

What if you used a tortillia? Brush it with soy butter and sprinkle it with cinnamon and sugar and bake--fill with tofutti, fold over and pour on the chocolate sauce and crushed nuts--might work! if not--it will make a very tasty mess!

I remember eating these in elementary school and getting so sick (lactose intolerant and stubborn), but not caring at all. they were sooo good!
I think that cone recipe would work, I think you can buy a taco mold too right? for real tacos, you could use that. I would fill mine with cherry nirvana soy delicious then pour that chocolate shell syrup on it and sprinkle nuts and coconut on top. no prob! lets do it!
