Hi! How long does Tofu keep in the refrigorator after it's been cooked? Generally I make only single servings of tofu because I'm not sure how long left-overs will last...

I can eat a whole package myself, but recently, i have been using half ablock at a time...cooking a half and stashing the other half, with marinade in the fridge or freezer so its ready to go for next time.

I tend to cook a whole block (aka 1 lb or 500 g) with "stuff" and if DH doesn't eat any, it will last for about 5 days with no ill effects. It never lasts longer cuz I eat it up.
Tofu doesn't like my metabolism--you wanna see me gain wieght in a heartbeat, feed me tofu--but I luvs it!!
Question: How can 1 lb of tofu make me gain 3 lbs? :-\

Or maybe tofu causes you some mild bloating (or gas...)....

Seriously! I like to make up a doubled batch of Oven Fried Tofu thinly sliced so thats over 30 pieces and I eat them two (or three) a time for breakfast. Crispy goodness that gets me through the week!
