We've tried olive oil, flea shampoo, ear mite medicine, ear washes, tea tree oil, and vitamin e oil.
Any and all suggestions are very welcome he acts so sad and he's shaking and scratching his fur off till it's all red and raw.
I love my Jake dog he's my noofer hound :'(
Take him to the vet! They will give you an ointment, and it should clear right up. We thought Olen had them one time (which he didn't), but they gave us the ointment. You just squeeze it in the ear.
We may have to specifically ask for that then... All she gave us was this lotion/cream stuff that's suppose to help but isn't >:(.

Awww. Let me go see what ours is called. We only used it a couple times, because we figured out Olen just likes to shake his head a lot... (this was right after we brought him home). He hated us putting it in, too. The tube says "Otomax." It has a red cap.
My cats had ear mites last year. You have to get the medicated drops for the ears like AC said. And make sure you clean Jake's whole body with a delousing agent because mites can live other places than the ear and migrate.
if you go back the vet, it may be worthwhile asking about a general topical product for mites, like selamectin (revolution). it's applied at the base of the neck and/or along the back, but spreads to the whole body after being absorbed. this might help if the mites are in other locations than the ear.
also, sometimes ectoparasites can become resistant to certain treatments/drugs, so a switch to another topical just may be the trick.
