Awesome Vegan Ranch Dressing

What you need:

1/2 cup nondairy milk (I use Edensoy vanilla or regular flavor)
1/2 cup vegan mayonnaise (I use Nasoya Nayonaise)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2-3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon dried or fresh parsley, finely chopped
salt and pepper, to taste

What you do:

Mix all ingredients in food processor.
This recipe tastes totally like the regular Ranch dressings on shelves in supermarkets. Everybody loves it and they all want the recipe hearing that it is vegan and so much healthier for you. I use it on salads, brown rice, baked potatoes, steamed veggies and a little thicker (add a bit more Nayonaise) as a veggie dip for raw vegetables. For the vegetable dip, I omit the red wine vinegar.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

This Dressing is amazing, I make modifications to make it more ranch-like: Skip the milk, add twice the vegenaise, 2 tbs apple cider vinegar, twice the parsley (FRESH), and add  1 packed tbs chopped fresh dill.

I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk and rice vinegar in this, eyeballed everything b/c that is how i roll. I liked it, it was a bit runny, and an odd sweetness.. great on salad, and made it again today for more salad for work. does the trick :)

This recipe is the best!  And takes just a couple minutes to whip up.  I don't use a food processor for this.  I just use a hand whisk.  I also don't measure the spices exactly.  Easy and forgiving recipe.  It tastes like Ranch Dressing, and it's TERRIFIC!

seriously, the best ranch dressing i've ever had:)
i like it super thick, so i added a bit more veganaise, and i also used white vinegar instead of red; i practically made it in under a minute!
it should make a wonderful edition to my bag lunch tomorrow:D

very, very good! my non vegan husband loved it. i only used one tbsp. of vinegar, but next time i think i will use more...or lemon juice...something to give it some bite. I also didn't have any onion powder, do i chopped up some fresh, red onion. I used a blender, and it turned out great! thank you, i will keep making this for sure!

I haven't been able to eat a salad in months because I haven't found a ranch dressing that was remotely tastey. But I tried this recipe out and it's amazing! It actually resembles ranch.  None of the store-bought crap I got comes close. Deffinitely made my day. :D

p.s. I wanted to add that I used brown rice vinegar instead of red wine vinegar.  No sulfites.

I just recently became vegan, and ranch dressing was the thing I was least looking forward to giving up.  I am SO glad I found this recipe!  I just got finished making up a big batch of this dressing.  It is so delicious!  Yeah, it doesn't taste exactly like ranch dressing, but it tastes pretty darn good, and pretty darn close.  It's just divine.  Thank you so much!!
