Delicious Tofu Patties

What you need: 

2 blocks firm tofu
1/4 cup canola oil
1 tablespoons chopped garlic
1 tablespoons turmeric
1 1/2 tablespoons dill
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup Braggs Liquid Amino Acids

What you do: 

1. In pan sauté oil, garlic, turmeric, dill, and black pepper
2. Pat tofu dry to remove excess liquid.
3. Crumble tofu, and sautéed ingredients, and blend with Braggs until smooth.
4. With scoop form patties on baking sheet.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes, flip and bake another 10 minutes.
Serve on bun with herb tofu spread, spinach, and tomatoes.

i went ahead and used extra firm silken tofu. there's only me, so i used one block. half i tried to make asiany with sesame oil and a little bit of ginger powder, and the other half i tried to make chikny with poultry seasoning. i used garlic powder instead of real garlic, low sodium soy sauce instead of braggs, and left out the dill. my patties were a little too wet so i added some ground flax seed and some flour to the mix and they held together nicely.

also, i had to bake them longer but that was probably due to the toaster oven (:



would this turn out horribly if i used firm or extra firm silken tofu?
