SO HOW'D IT GO?

My hummus had a little bit of a bite to it- I think 3 tbsp of tahini may be too much for my taste.  Otherwise, it was great.  I'm going to try making this recipe again, but I will put the tahini in last and add to taste.

great recipe.  I have never made hummus before and I was pleased with the results of this recipe.  I have never thought of pepper in hummus but this was a nice addition.  I didn't add lemon peel because I didn't have it, my lemon juice came from a jar (gasp) and it was still a tad to lemony for my taste. I would also add less pepper next time.

i make this all the time. its a very good base start and rocks on its own. has a nice natural, earthy flavor, with not too many spices. of course adjust accordingly, as some folks have a preference for certain flavors. another ingredient that brings a nice sweetness, is some roasted red pepper.. when i make it i usually add about a 1/2 cup. this recipe rocks when you play with it, makes for some fun yummyness :)
