Whipped Cream -Simple
What you need:
1 cup soy whipped cream
1/4 -1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon or less vanilla extract
What you do:
I know soy whipped cream is really gross, and I don’t like to use tofu in stuff, so I fixed the can!
Mix everything together, preferably with a beater, but a fork works just fine.
This comes out pretty good. It’s not really a recipe, more of a modification, but it’s really good

when i bought soyatoo, i couldn't even get very much to come out of the canister. bigtime disappointment, i definitely won't be buying it again... do you think i could do this recipe with soy whipping cream?
you have to let it sit for about 20 mins. out of the fridge and shake really well before using it. if you try to use it straight outta the fridge, you just use up all the gas (forget what kind does it?) but don't get anything out because it's too solid.
i agree with those who think the soyatoo has a soy aftertaste. it's good as you eat it, but within seconds it's like .. blech. i am also curious what whip this poster is talking about.
every time i get the can its different sometimes it sucks
i was really confused by this recipe. i think the soy whip in a can is awesome, for one. also, i can't imagine mixing it with a bunch of stuff -- it would lose all of its lightness/fluffiness. maybe it's for hip whip?

i will third the distaste for soyatoo. that aftertaste is out of control! i didn't really enjoy hip whip either though.
i'll get a can of soyatoo and try this recipe out.
Haha. Well, of course it is all a matter of opinion, but I HATE Soyatoo. I like soy things, but even I think it has a horrible soy aftertaste! I was really disappointed, too. :-/ I do, however, miss Hip Whip. I was very sad when I heard it had been discontinued. Which versions (tub or can) is deadbob9 referring to?
By "gross" are you referring to the tub version of whipped cream? I don't care for that, either. I would be very surprised, though, if anyone disliked the one in a can (Soyatoo). We had a taste test with Soyatoo vs. a canned dairy version and my omnivorous relatives either couldn't venture a guess or else guessed wrong every time! :P
