Skinny B*tch in the Kitch vanilla cake recipe

The vanilla cake recipe calls for 1 cup of silken tofu. I am unfamiliar with baking, so I was wondering what the tofu would do in this recipe. Is it an egg replacer? Could I substitute an equivalent egg replacer for the tofu?
I want to make this recipe but I don't have any tofu...
