Arrrgh! I got all excited because I thought it was going to be strawberry better then cream cheese. I have been wanting that for years. Those do look awesome, though.
Uh, just to let you know, most of the Tofutti sweet products aren't vegan because they use bone-char purified sugar.
I have never experienced a tofutti cutie, and that one sounds really good
with all due respect being given to wildeyerotgut's post - you can buy these at either of the Wild Oats (they're called Whole Foods here in Seattle, not sure what it's now called in Nashville) and i believe most of the Kroger's tend to carry them as well (probably the standard chocolate or vanilla flavor).
Last i remember, there's no Safeway's in Nashville (you're not missing much - Safeway's is $$$) but i guess that means no strawberry cuties either.

Ive sen the chocolate ones, but for some reason never really cared to try them, but the strawberry flavor sounds really really good!!

But my friend contacted Tofutti and they said for their dessert range, they (sometimes, meaning that they can't ensure they don't) use sugar that's been purified by bone char.

The jist of my post was directed at lubmiller - as she lives in Nashville and i used to live there, and miss it much - so i'm now forced to live in nashville vicariously through her - ha! I mentioned what i did about your post, because i wanted to give your thoughts their due respect and didn't want to seem like your post was being glossed over.
As far as "opinion of vegan" - i don't really have one....

Also, realised I could've sounded smug or holier-than-though or something with the "opinion of vegan" statement (curse the internet and it's lack of tone!).
I meant it literally though.
I indentify myself as vegan to most people, but I'm freegan - I eat dumpstered meat or dairy (have eaten roadkill also), this is because most people don't understand veganism, let alone my morals and choices to do with meat consumption and capitalism.
And heaps of my friends who are vegan (but freegan also, just less actively) eat things with 'containing traces of' etc etc if, say, a family member or something bought it.

I wondering about how a vegan ate roadkill and dairy. I thought freegan meant eating anything free or dumpstered, but you wouldn't still be a vegan if you ate non vegan food.

i have to say, i liked it sooooooooo much better then the vanilla or chocolate flavors i've had in the past. I don't know if the strawberry is really that much better - or if it's a case of my senses being enamored because of the strawberry flavor being more unique. i tend to lean towards tastes that are more unique.

I don't purchase or consume purchased meat, dairy or other animal products and I rarely purchase food, period.
I have never called myself vegan, except for when I was vegan for 5 years before I became freegan.
My beliefs with animal cruelty and animal consumption is to do with capitalism.
I am anti-capitalist, whether it is animal, human or land being exploited.
Which is why I spent the start of this year in the middle of the forest in Tasmania locked onto things.
I am aware that people have different feelings and views to me, but I still consider myself Freegan, because it's what I identify as.
what does being locked onto something mean?
