Am I the only one who gets annoyed when random (infrequently asked) questions are posted in the FAQ thread?  http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=18229.0
Should it be locked or something?  Or am I just too uptight?

Perhaps not locked, but cleaned up. I suggested back in the day to Yvette (the old admin) a FAQ page like so many websites have: you know, standard questions that come up again and again, about "how do I press tofu?" "Can I freeze seitan?" "What is nutritional yeast?" etc. etc. etc. Kind of a quick-reference section. Instead of that, she suggested I just create a thread like normal. It served the original purpose at first but quickly got off-topic.

Maybe it's time to create a more standard-issue Cooking FAQ page for newbies (and oldbies) to refer to.

It would also be nice if there were one more recipe Subcategory, or link or whatever, to recipes that users have tested and know that they freeze well. For batch cookers and busy people it would be a good thing.

I don't know where to post this... but, how do I post pictures on my account?  I have some food pictures I would like to add that are not associated with any VegWeb recipe.  I've tried and just can't figure it out.  Help (please)!

Go to your profile, then click "my photo gallery" on the left. Up at the top, you will see buttons. One of them is "upload file." You will need to have the pics sized smallish. Upload them there from your computer.

Ooh noting all these suggestions! Thanks, you're all the best!

Also, I wanted you all to know that we started in with site re-design last week and it's going SO WELL. We're gonna include you all in the process, and keep you updated like crazy. I have to say, it's looking SOOOO good. I can't wait to get you all in on the action and show you what we're cooking up! We're implementing so many of your ideas and suggestions... it's gonna be AMAZING.

I'm another for being able to edit your recipes, getting a better search engine and not having an option to add something to your recipe box that's already in there.

Also, I don't know if anyone else has had this problem but when I try to move a recipe from one category to another it deletes the recipe instead.

Make it so that we can upload photos. 99% of the time when I upload a photo, it doesn't work. I have to do it about a dozen times and I either get it after doing it a dozen times or I just give up.

To where? Recipes or profile?

Recipes. I finally got some up today but had to upload them to photobucket first.

Also, not everyone comments on the recipes so it would be really helpful to know how many people voted using the stars. It would be really cool if there was a breakdown of stars like they do on Amazon but in search you can just display the highest rating, when you click on the recipe be able to see a breakdown.

new suggestion!

It would eliminate a step for me if after hitting "mark as read" in recent unread topics, the user would be taken back to the list of forums (forum page) instead of the empty unread topic page. Does that make sense?
