I used a pepper grinder that had red and other color whole pepper 'kernels' (can't think of the word)... It was AMAZING! My favorite way is with cracked pepper on top!

It is  is runny at first, since it is melted, but when you refrigerate the pan, it firms to an icing consistency.

So I made this a second time and baked the crust without the toppings first and the crust was great. I used the crust with veggie toppings too, it's so versatile.
These are DELICIOUS! The molasses is KEY to connecting chocolate chip/butterscotch flavor.
