This has become my go-to cleaning spray. Our kitchen cabinet fronts are white PVC and are easily marked and stained with drips, coffee spills or fingermarks.
This was simple and good--I can imagine using the same spice blend on sweet or white potatoes. Mine took a lot longer than 35 min to cook, but maybe my oven wasn't hot enough.
I made this into a "spice cake" by subbing for the cocoa a pinch each of cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg and adding a teaspoon of shredded coconut. Delicious!!
Latest tweaks: cinnamon and ginger, a pinch each. A tablespoon of grated coconut instead of cocoa. A tablespoon of chunky peanutbutter hidden in the middle of the cake.
