i am very new to cooking so i apoligize if this is a stupid question. I want to make a recipe from the october 2005 vegetarian times (page 38). its garlicky tofu with spinach over pasta. it calls for baked tofu. i only have normal tofu, do they want me to bake it first? if so how long and at what temperature? sorry if this is stupid!!!
thanks! i am trying it tonight!
Yep, baked tofu is pre-baked and you can usually buy it in the stores alongside the tofu. I have however, found if it is a cooked dish (i.e. not a salad or cold dish) then regular tofu that's drained suffices just fine.
Good luck.
