Article on Women-run villages in India

Interesting article relating to the way women run Indain villages were better off afterwards in quality of life issues and less corruption, yet the women recieved no thanks or recognition and how it relates to ur society here. The last 3 paragagraphs were most interesting to me.

Sad that so many still feel the need to make gneder an issue in today's society. We should be past our stereotypes and be looking at individual performance, quality, and character, not issues beyond one's control like gender, race, etc. :(
